toe pads for Gaynor Mindens?

i've had the GM pointe shoes for about a month now. i havent been up a full year yet, and my first pair were Bloch's (aspiration style). When i first got those, the lady in the store told me i HAD to use the Pillows for Pointe Gellows (they're white and look like socks on one side, but have gel on the other side and you can flip between them) because thats all she sells to the girls who first go up. I quickly changed to the blue Eurotard ultra-comfort ones, the super thick gel, and was much happier.

I've used the same blue pads with the Gaynor Mindens but because of the padding in the toe box, i'm feeling like there's not enough room for my toes, like they're being squished. I used the Gellows one night and they seemed to fit a lot better and i was just as comfortable being up.

Anyone else have these shoes and have this problem? What pads do you use?

**Not using pads is NOT an option for me, lol. i tried this for about 2 seconds - not happening =p

Try lambs wool or paper towels.

You'll be getting new shoes soon enough, don't fret over the exact feel of these. Be sure to try on new shoes with the pads you want to wear, so you know how they will feel.
