How do you make a tuxedo cake using chocolate icing?
I am looking to make a chocolate square tuxedo cake using icing.
I really like the cake from this site:

(it is the 2nd from the top on on the left- the chocolate one)
Just wondering how I would do this?
Especially how do you get the white triangle collar made.
What icing would I use if I were to crumb coat the cake (chocolate or vanilla)
And does the icing outlining the lapel need to be darker than the icing on the whole cake?
Any helpful hints?:)

You could use fondant icing, the comes in various colours if bought from a cake decorating shop. It is easy to roll out and cut the shapes you want from this type of icing. The lapel is just another piece of fondant cut and placed on top of the first layer. The white triangle collar is just that two triangles cut from the white fondant and placed in position on the cake. You can assemble to pieces and use a little icing sugar and water mix to use as the adhesive to keep these in place. It should be reasonably easy as long as you cut out some templates to follow in either baking parchment or white paper.
