Do your kids have a toybox in the sitting room?
Or do yo keep that area toy free? I ask because we have always had a toybox in our sitting room and now my daughter is 3 and another one is on the way we are getting a bit cluttered....she has a LOT of bits and bobs...irritatingly tiny toys and I cant have that when there is a baby crawling round...is it fair to move all her toys up to her room?
she has toys up there too and so I am going to have to give some away to charity and put others in the attic which I feel she may have outgrown...should I have a small selection for her in the dining room? Or just get her to bring things down daily as she wants to play with them...and then have her put them back at the end of the day?
All of her craft things will still be available in the "craft cupboard" in the kitchen...what do you think? Hints and tips please?
Our house is a slightly larger than average 2 storey British three bedroom one...so not loads of space...
We don't allow the kids to store any toys outside their bedroom (except for the play kitchen which is in the kitchen). We use mini pop up hampers, which are great for storing all those little pieces and very easy to transport from room to room.
