What do you think this means? I dreamt I was intentionally poisoned in a local candle shop through lemonade. ?
Before the poisoning, though, I had lost my way on the interstate and somehow was on the phone with a best friend who hasn't contacted me in months. Then I was back in the candle shop and the owners intentionally poisoned me with lemonade. I cried for them to help me. Finally, after much stress, they said "Well it's already in you. All we can do now is try to get it out of you. I guess you didn't do anything wrong." I cried more and pulled plastic little toy black rats out of my mouth.
I then woke up.
it seems to me that you feel somewhat guilty your best friend hasn't contacted you in months. perhaps you carry the guilt of a fight or disagreement. i think your dream deals in past/future/present way in a weird order...almost as if your dream was being directed by quentin terentino.

future? after the phone call (where forgiveness is established) you can feel purged from whatever bad feelings are associated with the memories.
