Tank Size
What is the best tank size for my betta?
I have a betta fish that lives in a 1/2 gallon tank and hes doing fine (just got over a stressful move about a month ago and wasn't feeling too well but he recovered) Anyways, what would you say is a good size tank for my betta fish (consider the fact that I live in a dorm room with very little space)

To the second answer: Good website but that just seems like a narrow small tank for a one gallon tank dont you think?
To the third answer: if you read my post you would see i live in a dorm room and could not possibly set up a 10 gallon tank

well according to everything I've read (I've got the Animal Planet's Aquarium Care of Bettas in front of me right now), bettas tend to thrive in anything from 1 to 10 gallons (I've also had quite a few bettas over the years in tanks of varying sizes that have done well)

I know my little brother got this for his birthday last year and his betta does just fine in it (it's a cute set up if you don't have much space, and you get a lot of stuff for a low price), it's a one gallon betta tank with a light and a filter for $20:

you get alot for your money and it should easily fit into your dorm room, and your betta gets another 1/2 gallon of space
they have similar tanks on the same website that are 2.5 gallons instead, however this is slightly more expensive and takes up just alittle more space...here's a link to the 2.5 gallon (you'd have to not put the divider in side it):
