How to remove matts from cat fur?
I groom my cat twice a day with a slicker wire brush, but despite that, she still gets matts on her neck. Really tiny ones right at the roots, at the skin, some of them even smaller than 1 wire of the slicker brush.
My cat also loves water, she's prone to getting wet whenever there is an opportunity. I suspect that's why she keep getting these knots too.
How can I remove them? It's too close to the skin to cut off, the slicker brush is too thick. Some suggested using needle, but it is sooo dangerous, are there other ways?
