Slicker Dog
I thinks the slicker dog brush hurts my dog?
Im not sure but i bought a new slicker brush and my dog hates it! he runs away when he sees it..and when i catch him by the collar he squirms like mad so i dont want to force him that much to be brushes but he is shedding real bad and it needs to be done..
any suggestions?or could it be that he doesnt like the feel of the brush?

You bet it hurts if you aren't using it correctly! They cause "slicker burn", literally scraping the skin raw if don't use it the right way. And slickers are never used to brush a dog, they're ONLY for gently teasing out matts.
If you had said what breed you had, we could have told you what kind of brush you should be using.
