Appropriate dress for job interview?
I am 17 and have a Defence Force job interview. The advice I was give was to wear my school uniform but I attend a rural public school and the uniform is not up to the standard expected. Males were told to wear a collared shirt, tie and tailored pants and I don't really know what to wear because I'm from the back of beyond, female and would not feel comfortable in a weird women's skirt collared shirt deal because I'm so young. Could I get away with a non-fancy neat dress or something else tasteful do you think?
You could try tailored black pants, with a pair of low heels, a plain shirt, (doesnt need to be collared) with a ladies suit jacket. I wouldnt suggest a dress unless it was very plain, no patterns or over the top colours.
