Are the Penny Saver dog ads any good?
Im looking for a siberian husky dog and I see
a lot of dogs for sale in the penny saver ads.
Can these be trusted?
I just got a shih tzu/maltese mix puppy last week through the penny saver. But let me tell you, it took several weeks to find a REAL person who wasn't a scammer. So many of them are scamming people. They respond fairly quickly when you email them and the puppy is usually advertised really cheap. Once you email them, they say "we just want a good home for it" and then they tell you that they are in a different state and all you have to do is pay for the cage for the airplane. I must have had about 10 of these. Anyways, it is possible to find a dog online but you have to be very picky.
Only get a puppy from someone who is willing to meet you, where you can actually see the dog, its parents, and get a feeling for the owner. I love my puppy, she's a great happy and healthy dog. But it took a while and several heartbreaks when I thought I was getting a dog but it didn't happen. Try to find a breeder you know.
