How to tell people apart in this Halloween tag game?

So at my halloween party we are playing this vampire tag game in a big field in the dark. I need a way to tell the vampires and humans apart. It needs to be something obvious but easy to change, as people will go back and forth several times. Everyone will be wearing a costume, so it can't be a mask or shirt, or something that could damage their costumes.
I was thinking of those little blinking safety lights but they would get expensive for everyone to have one.

Any ideas?

Glow sticks or else go to a local supermarket and pick up those small flashing balls that can be hung around their necks. Good idea though i was thinking of doing something similar at my party
