Labs is Pulling Leash?
I want to take my parents labs for a walk but they drag me down the street. What is the best way to stop them from pulling? Any leash that helps? I feel sorry for them cause my parents never walk them.
Walk them one at a time. It is hard to train one lab that isn't used to being out let alone 2 at a time. Try using a choke collar or a halti head collar. It prevents them from pulling. It will take time esp. if they are not used to being walked. Labs need at least 20 min. of vigorous exercise 2x a day. You must encourage your parents to walk them or at least play with them in the yard with a ball a few times a day. Keep them on a schedule. A tired dog is a happy dog. Keep at it, it will come.
