Is it necessary to brush a dog's teeth if you are using other dental care?

I used Pet Dental tartar removing liquid in my dog's water everyday. I also give her one Science Diet dental treat each day. Is it also necessary to brush her teeth or is this adequate?

It is always a good idea to brush your dogs teeth.
