Potential risks of throwing a party at the rooftop level of a parking lot?
There's a lowkey parking lot that my friends and I frequent a lot to hang out at. My birthday is in about a month and a half and I had an idea of throwing my 19th birthday party at the top level which is about 6 levels high. Towards into the night, the parking lot gets totally empty and there is absolutely no cameras or patrolling security guards. I was just wondering what the potential risks would be if we were to get caught?
When you are hanging out, I presume there is no loud noise or loud music. A party will produce both, attract attention, and have the police on the scene in no time, whether by patrolling or by being called by passersby. You will be charged with trespassing, disturbing the peace, and whatever else occurs to them. The party will be an "attractive nuisance", you can't control who shows up, and if there are any underage drinkers present, they will be arrested, as well as you for providing them with whatever they are drinking, whether they brought it themselves or not. If anyone gets drunk, acts crazy, starts climbing around and falls off the structure, they will probably die and you will be responsible. Parties in isolated locations like that also attract recreational fighters who enjoy robbing and beating up teenagers, or worse. Shall I continue, or can you use your own imagination?
