Nylabone Healthy Edibles?
This is probably going to sound weird but I just bought my dog a Nylabone Healthy Edible Duck Flavour. I opened the package and inside was a sheet just telling me about this product. I gave the bone to my dog and procceded to read this piece of paper. The farther i got reading it the more I started wondering if I should have given it to him. In the paper it said that it was not to be eaten and that they could chew small parts off but if they have big pieces it is bad. What is the point of buying them if they say they are edible on the package, but on the paper it says they aren't. He really liked it and I felt bad taking it away, but he had already gotten some bigger pieces off and was eating them. Please give me some feedback and tell me if they are aloud to actually eat them.

Yes, your dog can safely ingest little pieces of the bone. The point is that these bones are digestible, which means that they don't run the risk of causing obstructions like if they swallowed a small chunk of a non-"edible" bone (like rawhide, Greenies, et cetera) because the stomach can actually digest them. They have to warn you because if the dog chews off large chunks and tries to swallow them without chewing, the dog may choke, whereas small chunks can be easily swallowed. That's a risk you run with everything and anything the dog puts in his mouth. Just supervise him.
EDIT: Healthy Edibles and Booda Bimple Bones are essentially the same thing. They're both digestible bones and most of both are made from starch. The difference is the texture and size. I personally prefer to give my dog Healthy Edibles because the biggest Bimple Bone just isn't big enough.
