Omnivores: do you feel bad about eating meat?
Do you pray for the animal? Or do you just like eating.meat and.dont care how many baby cows need to die?
Or are you one of the few people who actually care and either are thinking of being vegan or buy only the natural free range meats and eggs?
But if you got free range meats then they would live a more happy life before dying.
My husbands an omnivore and I still dont get why but at least he only eats free range.

And I don't feel bad about the animals I displaced form their habitat so i could live in a house either, or for the land that was cleared in order to farm the land to grow my vegetables, and the cotton for my clothing. I don't even feel guilty about the sea life that died because of offshore oil spills which I encouraged by driving an oil burning car. I don't feel bad for the lab animals that were abused and died so that I could have modern medicine.
Remorse and guilt are wasted emotions, especially when people tell me I should feel guilty for being alive and human.
edit: The second part of your question makes more sense. Yes, I believe that an animal's quality of life is important: even if that life is intended to end in a slaughterhouse, which is one reason why I try to keep[ away from store bought meat entirely. Many of the eggs I get are from my neighbor's backyard poultry coop; and yes, I do buy fre range meat.
