A Short Review of the Rii Mini Wireless Keyboard - Read Through Easy Guide To Resolve Your Own Worries

As declared on the package, the Rii is a mini keyboard. When I talk about mini keyboard, I am of course referring to to how big the device is, as it's not the same size as a regular PC keyboard. Virtually all typical keyboard are approximately 18 inches by 2 inches by 8 inches, but this keyboard is just 5.9 inches by 2.3 inches by 0.5 inches and weighs in at just 3.2 ounces. An Individual who puts a premium price on portability will discover the compact size and lightness of the Rii a delight, being so handy to carry around. Typing is rather easy on this little keyboard, which fits well between your hands.

You can use this mini keyboard with gaming systems like PS3 or wiki, and with PCs and laptops. As this mini keyboard utilizes a Bluetooth wireless USB receiver for wireless connectivity, you don't need to mess around with any wires, and many devices are wireless nowadays, making it simple to hook up this keyboard to your electronics. The keyboard comes with the usual laptop type of touchpad, as well as full QWERTY capability. In case the surroundings is not lit well, the Rii features 26 LED lights. The power supply consists of two rechargeable lithium ion batteries, which come with the keyboard.

As far as reviews go, there are a lot on Amazon, mostly with 4 or 5 stars. There are as well some votes for 1, 2 and 3 stars, which indicates that it may not be as good as it first seems. One observation was that the keyboard didn't work properly with an Ubuntu system beyond a range of 30 feet, but it was quite good within that. However, thirty feet is quite adequate. Both playlist and volume button controls are present on this device, which is fantastic if the planned use is multimedia in character. Buttons that aren't typically used are also found on the Rii, which is superb because they are sometimes needed so it would be an inconvenience if they weren't there.

However, like anything, there are several negatives. What is a bit of a hassle from time to time is that the touchpad is not as exact as we are accustomed to with standard laptop touchpads. A further annoyance - which can be circumvented by using the mouse buttons for left and right instead - is that the touchpad is a little insensitive to tapping. There is a quirk with the QWERTY layout, in that the keys on the Rii are directly underneath each other, whereas they are staggered on a normal keyboard It's not really a serious issue, though; you'll get used to it quite quickly.

Overall, this device is a great device if you're in the market for a smaller size that also comes with a mouse touchpad. Overall, the upsides greatly dwarf the few negatives, and the price is excellent.
