Bad Santa wanted for burglary at McDonald's in Central Fla. (Sun Sentinel)
A man dressed as Santa Claus got naughty earlier this month at a burger joint,
Lakeland police said today. The man, dressed in a white beard and red hoodie,
is wanted for a burglary Nov. 8 at the fast-food restaurant at 1715 Bartow
Road in Lakeland, near the intersection with South Crystal Lake Drive. The man
is about 5-feet-8-inches tall with a medium build. No information was
immediately available about what the man did inside the McDonald's. "Suspect
was wearing a Santa Claus beard at the time,'' Lakeland police said in a
statement. "Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is
asked to contact Crime Stoppers, 1.800.226.8477," the statement added.
