can chaining a dog down help in leash walking?
I have been trying to train my puppies to work on a leash with me but so far, they are not corporating with me. I have decided to chain them down maybe that will help them master the leash. Any idea please or will the work later?
First mistake - having more than one puppy in the first place
No chaining them won't help. Take each of them out separately and train them with the leash. Lots of their training should be done individually and each needs to spend quality time with YOU and not so much with each other to bring each up as well mannered adult dogs that bond with you.
So many people see having two pups together as good company for each other, but in reality it is FOUR times the amount of work for the person, and if you get it wrong then you have TWO hooligans on your hands that are hard to deal with.
