My Dog wont walk on a leash/ lead she is 11months, what do i do?
I'm really frustrated and stressed... my dog will not walk on a leash she is 11months and i really want her to be able to walk on a leash for many reasons, but the main reason is, it isn't healthy for a dog to stay indoors all the time she needs to get out and communicate. Ive tired her best treats,toys even bought different collars harnesses and i just bought a rope leash (previously had a metal chain) I SERIOUSLY NEED HELP!!!!
I feel like nothing will change her mind... she is sooo stuborn!!! sometimes i feel like beating her but i cant do that to her can someone help?
my poochi hates a collar and leash so i pull him from under the bed when he sees the harness and put it on them tug him outside with my other 2 older dogs for their walk. he is a pretty stubborn little guy but when he gets out he loves keeping up with the others and enjoys his outings.try ur harness again and i find u have more control over their bodies and just by pulling up on the shoulders and coaxing them to walk will work in time. they don't choke like a collar and will get going with constant walking, make her go out and keep talking and praising her and take little steps, stop then continue and each time go for a longer distance until she gets use to the feel of the harness. eventuall she will get use to it and look forward to her walks. good luck
