Lead Size
Why does my pencil lead keep going back into my mechanical pencil?
I use mechanical pencils. The lead keeps going back into the pencil after I start writing with it after a bit. Why is this? How can I fix/avoid it?
I'm using the BIC brand, with lead size .7mm.

You most likely don't have another piece of lead in the pencil which is why it keeps pushing up and because the current lead you are using is so small, it gets pushed back in to the pencil by the force of contact it has with the paper. The only thing to do is buy more lead.
