Kennel Dog
my 3 yr old boxer has been a kennel dog, and i am trying to transition him to an inside dog, please help?
my boxer sleeps in a crate, and while we are gone is in the garage, that way if he makes messes it is in there and easier to clean, he has always been in a kennel and we are trying to convert him to an inside dog, we take him out in the mornings and evenings. Please give assistance
No i do not have anyone to take dog out in the afternoons, and No there is nothing in Garage to hurt him, i have put all stuff like that up before i got him. Aslo yesterday there was no messes in the garage like there was the first day, i think he is slowly learning but i am new to this.
Start from square one and use plenty of patience. Remember he is used to having "his" space and now you must train him to live in "yours". It will just take consistency and patience to have him adapt. Good luck and don't expect overnight results just because he isn't a pup
