Is my dog's toy too big or too heavy for him?
i have a two month old Australian Shepard and i recently bought this rubber bone

Our dog likes to knaw on the ends of the bone with one side of his mouth, he never actually lifts it up but im scared he might chip his teeth because its too hard or heavy. Should i clean it and put it away for a while till he grows up a bit?
Im wondering if the toy could be too big for my dog to a point where it can be harmful!
Puppies should have softer smaller toys, to gradually strengthen jaw muscles and massage gums during teething. I'd put it away until he's grown, and get something more suitable. Kong makes a line made from softer rubber specifically for puppies, if he likes rubber chews.
