Questions bout guinea pigs?
just one question bout guinea pigs.
I haven't got my 2 females yet but I am buying toys for them.
I just bought a pigloo (plastic guinea pig hidey house shaped as igloo) and I know that they will like but should I get more toys?
I already have a pluming pipe and cat ball thingy which is safe for them.
Also that pigloo but should I get a fleece pet bed for them for in my room?

GUINEA PIG ENTERTAINMENT:
1. Get them a big cage, they enjoy big cages.
2. Let them have floor time, that is, providing a safe environment, where guinea pigs can run around your house freely.
3. Hidey houses are good. Wood, towel tents and pigloos are great.
4. Fresh hay keeps them entertained, and keeps their teeth from growing to big.
5. They love paper bags to hide in. (no plastic please!)
6. Shoe boxes, tissue boxes, empty soda boxes, any cardboard boxes really.
7. Guinea pig cozies or cuddle cups. They really love these. They are shaped like a paper bag. But more like a dog bed. Look it up on google if you are unsure what they are.
8. Tunnels, make some for them to run through.
9. Cardboard toilet paper tubes.
10. Crumpled up pieces of paper.
11. Sheet of newspaper. Your 2 piggies will probably play tug of war, chew it, hide under it etc.
12. Stuff (or not, it doesn't really matter!) an old sock with guinea pig bedding and stitch/tie it up. The guinea pigs will drag them around the cage happily.
13. Some guinea pigs use stuffed animals as pillows. Make sure they don't have any choking hazards. If they chew them, remove the stuffing and fill it with bedding, so they will not be poisoned. They may or may not chew the toy.
14. DO NOT GIVE THEM EXERCISE BALLS OR EXERCISE BALLS! They will hurt their back.
