How do you get runny dog poo out of carpert?
My dog got into the cat food, and it made his poo runny. He didn't wake me last night to go out so this morning I wake up to find a puddle of poo on my carpet. Any suggestions on how to get it out of the carpet?
Personally I use a wet/dry shop vac set up for WET substance. Blott up every thing you can but DONT press down! Saturate the area with hot carpet cleaner solution (I mix it in a mason jar and microwave it). Continue the process until there is no visible residue. Rinse several more times with clear water to remove the detergent, dry it as thoroughly as possible with towels then saturate the area with an enzymatic cleaner and leave it wet or damp for 24 to 48 hours. The enzymes will feed on any organic matter left over removing 100% of the odor and traces.
