My dog has ear infections in both ears!?
The vet prescribed eardrops and ear cleanser for her ear infections. We have to give her 6 eardrops in each ear twice a day. This proves to be quite difficult, as our diva dog does NOT like to be pinned down for her meds and only half the eardrops actually make it down her ears. How can we calm her or hold her down so she's getting the right amount of drops?
Well what I do is I have some one els there to pet her and to talk to her. So i can put eardrops in. After you should give her a treat. She will soon like it when you put it in. Also when you put the ear drops in rub the ears where they like it. Rub them nice so she will start to kind-of purrr. But really after that treat her nice, tell her good girl/boy.
But you might want someone with you that can help pet her when you put the drops in her ear!!!!
