Choke Chain Collar
is there a certain collar lead or chain to use for a great dane?
we were looking into great danes and one thing i can't find information on is what to walk them on. everyone says different things.
in the past with other dogs we have used choke chains collars harnesses and a verity of leads.
but what should be used for a great dane?
do we change at different stages of their life? (i mean like one kind for a puppy then another for adolescence and so on)
There is nothing special to use for a Dane any more then any other breed/mix of dog. The key is proper training right from the start.
Get your puppy into a good obedience class right from the start. Train your puppy to walk with proper manners and what is expected.
For leashes I like leather ones. They are a lot easier on your hands then nylon or web. They also become pliable and are sturdy.
