who or where can I get help paying for my cats medical services in ca?
I am disabled and have low income. My cat has a enlarged heart and liver as well. Nine hundred dollars the vet wants to do a scan. I need help with funding. Is there a charity that can help me. Please it's urgent. I love my cat.
Well i had the same thing happen to my little poodle as he had congestive heart failure and the heart doctor wanted a thousand just for the test not including his fee and the medicine and everything else they tack on.I begged my vet to please sell me heart meds so my peanut could live' but all they would do is give me water pills to get the water of his heart.You could call your animal shelter in your town and explain and amybe they can help.I finally had to put my boy down 4 weeks after i begged the vet for mercy but i was there and got to hold him while they gave him' the 2 shots to put him to sleep.I feel for you as i know how much we cate for our pets ' and if we like you and I are on a fixed income were screwed.My prayers will be with you and you lovely cat' and i do hope you;ll get some help sweetie.
