does anyone know if american eagle jeans run big?

i just ordered a size 1 and 2 off ebay, and i have 36'; hips, and kinda big bottom for me, I am 5'4 and weigh 115 lbs, I never shop there because to many people go there, I always have trouble with jeans because they fit everywhere else but the button closure=(

I bought a pair of their super low-rise skinny jeans, so i'm not sure if those fit the same. But they fit snug (not too tight) and i love them! They fit me perfectly and i have a big waist/bottom too, but they make my legs look slimmer and flattering.
