How would I make an Avant Garde bedroom?

I'm trying to redecorate my room and I really like AvantGarde style things.

You mean like fashion forward?

Well, I would pick a good theme to go with. For example, minimalist or abstract or a particular shape or colour scheme. So say you chose minimalist. You could buy some minimalist paintings and sculptures and display them around your room, and paint the walls white or black. Or you could chose a shape, e.g. square. What you could do is find shelves and furniture and fabrics which involve squares or a square pattern and use that as a theme.

If you really like Avante Garde fashion, you could do an avante garde display around your room. Find some avante garde designs of clothing on Google images, print them out, and display them around your room walls in a cool way.

Or something like that, anyway. If you get really stuck, search 'avante garde' on Google and some ideas should pop up.
